Limudim Teacher

Reports to: Director of Education, Rebecca Berger

Duration: Part-time

Position Overview:
IKAR is hiring energetic and passionate teachers for our Pre-K - 9th grade supplementary school, Limudim (“learning”), which meets on Saturday mornings (9:15-12:15) and Tuesday afternoons (4:00-6:30) at Shalhevet High School, and for online Hebrew. Please let us know if you are available for all or some of these sessions.

Responsibilities and Tasks Include:

• Teach Judaics/elective courses on Saturdays and/or Tuesdays in person and/or Hebrew classes online.
• Collaborate with the Director of Education to write and implement engaging lesson plans.
• Attend faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and one-on-one coaching sessions with the Director of Education.
• Create a child-centered and warm learning environment where children feel seen and valued.

Salary & Benefits: Pay range is $30-$70/hour depending on background and experience.
